Get on your bike and ride!
With nearly 200kms of local off road cycle trails, Hawke's Bay is an amazing place to discover on bikes. Bring your own bike or hire one of our Bauer Comfort bikes and within minutes you will be cycling along beautiful river banks and coastal areas, passing many of our wineries, or watching the world pass by over coffee in a boutique café.
Rides cater for every level of fitness and experience, and are a very safe way to get the kids enjoying the outdoors away from busy roads.
Hastings Farmers Market & Black Barn Summer Market
Just 8 minutes to the Hawke’s Bay Show Grounds where they host the iconic Sunday Hawke's Bay Farmers Market, this market is held all year round. Over the summer time Black Barn Winery hosts their own Saturday morning seasonal market conveniently located just a few minutes’ walk up the road.
Sample gourmet produce, enjoy sun ripened fruit/vege that is freshly picked or chew the fat with the grower or farmer – this brings you back to a truly authentic food experience.

Less than 10 minutes’ drive is the “funtastic” Splash Planet theme park, a beloved Hawke's Bay summer destination offering a day of theme park rides and water attractions. Splash Planet is the perfect place for the whole family to spend a day and re-connect with ‘FUN’.

Napier is internationally recognised as the home of Art Deco, and there are much architecture from this era across the region. Whether you are attending one of the annual celebrations or events, there are a range of activities and Art Deco tours that provide an excuse to dress up a bit!

With our temperate climate and high annual sunshine hours, the majority of experiences are available year round too.
